Fashion & Storytelling for Honoring Legacy

In 2020, I was fortunate to receive the NewMusic USA grant, which I believe reflects my strengths in storytelling, authentic performances, and compelling visuals that resonate with audiences on an emotional level. I am grateful that my work is recognized for its empathy, nuance, and exploration of complex themes and issues. Projects like Prada Mane, inspired by my late uncle, have contributed to my success in the film industry. In addition to my creative pursuits, I have had the opportunity to teach digital art to students at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, which has been a rewarding experience. I approach my craft with humility and am constantly seeking to grow and learn. With my unique vision and dedication to making impactful and thought-provoking works of art, I hope to continue contributing to the industry.

Superdad, In-House Creative

As a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), I am a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on film, graphic design, and illustration. My education in the Digital + Media program, which operates at the intersection of art and technology, has provided me with the framework to explore emergent creative practices and to produce research-driven and critically-informed work.

In 2014, I was featured in The Guardian for my senior thesis project, which showcased my abilities as a creative director, curator, and fundraiser. I conceptualized and executed a multi-track music and graphic design project that was supported by notable brands such as 10 Deep and The Fader. This project was a testament to my passion for collaboration and my drive to see a project through from start to finish.

As an artist, I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to push my boundaries and grow as a creative. My education at RISD has been a critical foundation for my development and I am excited to continue my journey as a multimedia artist.
